HAM AND CHEESE SALAD
- Sliver a 1/4-inch-thick slice of deli baked (or Black Forest)
ham along with an ounce of Jarlsberg or Gruyere cheese.
- Mix with 1/2 cup sliced raw mushrooms, a little chopped
celery, minced parsley, and a couple of tablespoons of freshly
grated Parmesan cheese.
- Shake up the dressing in a screw-top jar: 1 tablespoon olive
oil, I teaspoon rice or white wine vinegar, 1/4 teaspoon Dijon
green peppercorn mustard, salt, and a tablespoon of heavy
cream.
